About
A Silicon Valley resident since 1995, I have a husband, a son, a daughter, a golden retriever, and a mortgage.
I left the corporate world to be a mom in 2000, and am now a part-time computer-logic teacher at a private school.
I came to the U.S. for its freedom of speech, and the academic and economic opportunities it allows. A naturalized citizen, I teach my children to be grateful for all these, while never forgetting that we are only part of a bigger world.
This blog is where I get to share my thoughts, my laughter, my pains, and my fears. Most importantly, this is how I escape from that never-ending pile of laundry and dirty dishes.
I guess if I were to suddenly drop dead, my epitaph might say: My home is a mess but I have a blog!
Yes, this is my journal, which I ultimately dedicate to my family: in Asia, in Europe, and here, in America.
